Minister Uri Ariel, who heads the Tekuma faction in the Bayit Yehudi party, sent an urgent letter to party leader Minister Naftali Bennett stating it is time to inform Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu of the party’s red line and the crossing of this line will compel breaking from the coalition.
In his letter Ariel explains that following the recent visit to Israel by US Secretary of State John Kerry, it is reported by Channel 2 News that PM Netanyahu is preparing to make additional “good will gestures” to the PA which may include giving away tens of thousands of dunams of Yehuda and Shomron to the PA, giving additional weapons to the PA security forces and additional economic assistance.
Ariel explains he views these reports in a most serious light and the Bayit Yehudi party must inform the prime minister that such actions are unacceptable and will compel Bayit Yehudi to leave the coalition. Ariel calls for an urgent meeting of the party to determine what the red lines are.
In response to Ariel’s letter, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Sunday morning 17 Kislev announced to a Likud faction meeting that no land is being given to the PA (Palestinian Authority) contrary to reports, “not even a single meter”.

It’s shocking that bayit yehudi didn’t have any coalition agreements whereas the charadim had a bunch of them, were they so desperate to get in to the coalition?
#1- Of course BY and the Likud have a coalition agreement. Why would you think otherwise? As for the ‘desperation’ crack, it was BY that had the leverage in the negotiations as you may recall.
As for MK Ariel, he is a serial abandoner who has spent much of his political career threatening to leave various coalitions, parties and factions and who has indeed left a number of them.
Bennett is a real שוני ישראל shame on him.. It’s really sad..
Jewish blood spilling throughout the streets was never a red line for this party. Nor was the release of hundreds of terrorists for nothing in return. But mention “land” and you’ve crossed all lines with this party. No different than the other religious parties who draw the line at “budgets.” But, again, Jewish blood and safety is not a red line for anyone. How sad.
Bibi we are not giving them any land, BUT…..
we will ……………………………..
Bibi needs to go!!! He is all talk, he has no backbone!!!
He is the one who gave away Chevron even in the midst of being stabbed with the huge Pollard sword by the the BIG stabber Willy Clinton.
Bibi is fragile!!!
@3, It amazes me how you can say such lashon hara on a fellow Jew. Im sure he has done more to help/protect Jews then you ever had. Stop being so hysterical.
