British Foreign Secretary David Miliband released a statement condemning Israel Defense Ministry’s approval of 50 housing units in Adam to accommodate the residents of nearby Migron, which the Supreme Court has ordered evacuated.
Miliband stated the decision by the Israeli government violates international law, demanding that Jerusalem adhere to the White House and European Union call for a total freeze of settlement construction.
“This is the worst possible time for new settlements to be initiated or for construction to be started,” adding the “settlements” are a “blockage to peace”.
