As YWN reported on Monday, an Orthodox Jewish man was assaulted in Midwood. Today, Police have released a photo of a man wanted for questioning in regards to this incident.
The incident happened on Monday, November 16 at 3:47PM, in front of 1753 East 16th Street.
Sources tell YWN that at around 3:45PM Monday afternoon, a Jewish man – who happens to be a judge – was walking on Avenue R and East 16th Street, when he was pushed into a tree.
The NYPD was on the scene in minutes and began canvassing the area for a suspect.
Flatbush Hatzolah was on the scene and treated the man for light injuries. He was not transported to the hospital.
Police add that there should be no reason for concern as this is an isolated incident, and additional police patrols have been added to the area.
