Sorry, guys. You lose me when you call the Israeli police “Gestapo”. I am just as charedi as any of you. I was once actually beaten up by an Israeli cop during a Shabbos demonstration just for being at the wrong place at the wrong time, But …..Gestapo? As the son of survivors, I resent that term used so liberally today. Even against Israeli cops, who, I will be the first to admit, are no Tzadikim, to say the least
You did not say why they sprayed tear gas. What’s the whole story?
if its true that they went in to the yeshiva to gain shelter from the police then those are the people to blame for this incident. the israeli police are to be expected to act this way, we are not.
