In an address to Jewish community leaders in Paris, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu on Wednesday spoke of the need for Arab nations to recognize Israel’s right to exist is peace efforts are to move forward. The prime minister stated that without this basic recognition, a basic right for the Jewish State, all efforts to achieve regional peace will be halted.

The prime minister also reiterated his commitment to a united Jerusalem which he stated will remain under Israeli sovereignty. He stated that the Jewish capital will remain in the hands of the Jewish people forever, adding we are responsible to defend ourselves.
