IDF Homefront Commander Major-General Yoel Struk visited Magen David Adom Headquarters in Kiryat Ono, hosted by MDA Chief Eli Bin.

Struk arrived on Sunday morning 19 Cheshvan, arriving with a number of senior officers in the Homefront Command. They were given a tour of the site including an explanation of MDA’s abilities in the event of a major disaster.

The senior IDF commander visited the dispatch and commend centers along with being shown the capabilities of some of the software that permits MDA to remain atop of any situation.

As he departed Struk explained “From my brief visit I learned a great deal about MDA, its technological means and its operational capabilities. MDA is a strategic partner to the goals and purpose of the Homefront Command, which is saving lives. I can say to the citizens of the State of Israel that MDA has professional prestige based on the organization’s vast experience and security of the organization. Israeli citizens can rest assured with the knowledge that in the worst case scenario, MDA will do what is expected of it in the best possible way to save lives. I plan to continue working to enhance my relationship with MDA to advance out combined goals of saving lives”.
