As Israeli politicians and security leaders work to calm the current wave of Islamic terror, Sheikh Raid Elkim, who is well acquainted with the youths in predominately Arab areas of the eastern capital, warns the young prefer to die and become martyrs and receive the items after death as is promised to them.
“These youths have no future, no money, and therefore they prefer to opt for the “reward after death” he explained. The Islamic spiritual leader made his comments during an interview with MyNet.
Elkim, a resident of the Beit Haninah area of the capital explains this current wave of violence is the Muslim way to achieve deterrence against any Israeli activities on Har Habayis in the future. This is their way to tell Israel to prevent Jews from continuing to visit Har Habayis.
When asked if he really believes that Israel plans to make changes on the holy site, the sheikh explained in recent months Israel has divided the time on the site, barring Muslims from 8:00-11:00 AM. He questions how Muslims car be barred, even for a few hours, “for this is our holy site” he adds, stating “When one sees a small fire does one try to extinguish it or does one wait until the fire spreads”, recommending that Israel reads the message that is being delivered.
“Most of the kids who perpetrated the recent attacks are from the city but they do not know one another. They live side-by-side with the Jews. The Jews are not the problem but rather the government is the problem” he explains. He warns the young feel despondent, without a future, without money and without hope, so their buy a knife amid an awareness they will die, become shahids, and they will then be granted their “promise” in heaven and for them, this is sufficient.
Elkim insists “Most of our people are secular. This is not a religious war but there are those who are trying to portray it as such. It does not matter if it is tomorrow, next week or next month – the Jerusalem Arabs will pay the price. Today most villages have three or four entrances but today, most are left with one entrance and they must pass stringent security inspections. Now they are also inspecting vehicles, removing some form the road and issuing summonses”.
Elkim feels the leadership of the Jerusalem Arab population is not strong enough to bring an end to the violence. He feels the current situation is in the hands of Prime Minister Netanyahu. “When he announces Har Habayis is holy to Islam and Jews are no longer permitted to visit, then things will quiet down”.

The youth has no money because the sheiks and politicians took it. What happened to all the aid they are getting? It doesn’t translate to jobs because it’s being used to pay ‘martyrs’.
Give them jobs of rebuilding what they lost in the wars that were provoked by the leaders, open tech jobs like the Israelis do and the youth will be too busy to throw stones.

The Sheik says the poor Palestinians feel they have no other hope so they therefor go on stabbing sprees of Jewish men, women and children in the hope of at least becoming shaheeds and getting 100 virgins in Moslem paradise. Poor Palestinians 🙁 Look at the difference between Jews and them! We tell our children to be kind to others and care about others. To give clothing and food and medical care. In Israeli hospitals there are Jews AND Palestinians (Even the Palestinians that put those Jews in the hospital!) That through Torah and kindness we will bring Redemption closer (whisper—-when the Bais HaMikdash will shine via our prayers and Moshiach will come Speedily in Our Days)
OKAAY!! Let’s say we give them want they want! Will there be jobs, “money and a future” waiting for them???? No—because the Sheiks, Imams and leaders are happy to keep them as they are now…why doesn’t one of these so-called martyrs ask them why they don’t send their own kids, or even better, themselves to be martyred? I don’t think they truly believe their own hateful rhetorical rantings!!
It seems like the arabs don’t actually believe the “reward after death” is worth it. Why do they push the kids who have no future to do it? Why don’t the pigs just man up and say that they are brainwashing the youth to be murderous animals?
While the Eastern Jerusalem Sheikh is a blatant liar, the Mishnah Berurah (561:5) says, “Even after the Beis HaMikdosh was destroyed, the Mount upon which the Beis HaMikdosh stood still retains its special sanctity. Therefore today, while we are still in a state of tumah, ritual defilement, it is strictly forbidden for a Jew to enter the Temple Mount.”
In addition, Rav Kanievsky stated, “Entrance to the Temple Mount and the defilement of the Holy of Holies, is more severe than any of the violations in the Torah.” (http://bit.ly/1D66Dop)
Bear in mind, “The descendents of Ishmael will go up at that time (End of Days) with the nations of the world against Jerusalem” [Zohar 1:119a].
In a separate Jewish commentary describing the End of Days, the Sefer Eliyahu, first published in Salonika in 1743, describes how the Arab nations will attempt to convert the Jewish nation to Islam and rewrite Temple Mount history:
“Israel will say to the king of the Arabs, ‘Take silver and gold and leave the Temple.’ The king of the Arabs will say, ‘You have nothing to do with this Temple. However, if you want, choose a sacrifice as you did in the past, and we will also offer a sacrifice, and with the one whose sacrifice is accepted, we will all become one people.’ The Jewish people will offer theirs, but it will not be accepted because the Satan will lay charges against them before The Holy One, Blessed is He. The descendants of Kedar will offer theirs, and it will be accepted…At that time, the Arabs will say to Israel, ‘Come and believe in our faith,’ but Israel will answer, ‘We will kill or be killed, but we will not deny our belief!’ At that time, swords will be drawn, bows will be strung and arrows will be sent, and many will fall.” (Pirkei Mashiach, page 236)
The Sefer Eliyahu describes a war of faith and religion, of the type being fought today. Sacrifices, or the modern equivalent, prayer, is at the center of the conflict, as the ancient book predicts. Today Jews or Christians praying on the Temple Mount is considered an act of aggression in the international press and a declaration of war.
Except that after Netanyahu does that another ultimatum will be issued. And another. And another….
Jews are not allowed to be on the Har HaBayis UNDER TORAH LAW. But how does stabbing someone in Pisgat Zev or in Beer Sheva have anything to do with the Har HaBayis!? The Arabs want to kill Jews and the Har HaBayis is just one more pretext to do that.
