The President’s role is to make peace in the World. He has to create some sort of compromise to make both parties happy. We can believe in our right to Eretz Yisrael – but do you really think the President is going to solve the World’s problems by saying “Hashem told the Jews that the land is theirs – all Arabs get out”?
The only reason he said what he said is because his arrogance is only outweighed by his ignorance. This guy is making Jimmy Carter look like a wizard.
The pres job is to protect us American citizens and lead the country. you seems as idealistic as the pres and his supreme court nominee.
Since when has it been the American pres job to solve the worlds problems??
ok then, let me rephrase. what i meant to say was that he thinks that his role is to make peace in teh World. And either way – whatever the reasons are for being involved in the Middle East, saying that the Jews should get the land because Hashem gave it to us and not them is clearly not an argument that is going to win over a Christian president in a non Jewish world.

Chamberlain also thought that his role is to make peace what happenned is well known 6 years of war 50 million dead amongst them 6 million of our innocent Yidden.
So please wake up and smell the roses we should never try to make peace with dictators it always backfires example Shah of Iran and so on
You are the point. The point was not what Obama’s goal is. Whatever his goals are or are not – we are not going to win the argument by saying G-d said we could have the land. People are looking for a logical argument – not that the G-d I believe in said I could have the land.
I can’t believe that during this very week we are reading in Eretz Yisroel of cheit hamiraglim, you – onlygoodnews – are so small in emunah that you forgot the first Rashi in the Torah…logical arguments are worth nothing…the only thing that matters is our faith that Hashem gave us this land. We have to follow Hashem’s word without compromise, or apology, or fear of public opinion. Do you believe that Hashem could do anything, or don’t you?
