Motzei Shabbos and Sunday, 11 Cheshvan, marks the yahrzeit of Rochel Imeinu. Hundreds of police and border police will be assigned to protecting mispallalim to and from the holy site on the yahrzeit. Police urge citizens to phone the 100 emergency number to report anything suspicious.

Israel Police is recommending motorists not to try coming to the tziyun in a private vehicle.

Egged will operate free bus service from:

· Malchei Yisrael Street

· Binyanei Ha’uma

· Teddy Stadium

· Derech Chevron (After Ramzorim Jct. towards Kever Rochel)

· Private buses will transport to Teddy Stadium and from there the scheduled buses.

· Vehicle can be parked in the eastern lot at Teddy Stadium

· Buses will stop at designated stops only, and not along the routes

· Entry to the tziyun for Egged and disabled vehicles

· Persons will not be permitted to walk between Rozmerin Jct. and the tziyun

Traffic arrangements:

· Due to expected heavy traffic, persons heading to Gilo are advised to use Rt. 50, Begin southbound.

· Vehicles are banned between Rozmerin Jct. and the tziyun.

· Parking will be prohibited on Rozmerin Street and Derech Chevron. Vehicles parked illegally that interfere with traffic will be towed.

· Other areas may be closed sporadically by police in line with the situation.
