In a wise tactical move, Arab MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi has turned to Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein seeking to have the speaker remove a planned plenum discussion about giving preferential treatment to goods manufactured in Yehuda and Shomron regarding future Knesset purchases.

Tibi explains for one thing, the Knesset represents all the parties including coalition and opposition and such a move would not be in line with this. In addition, he points out giving preferential treatment to goods manufactured in Yehuda and Shomron would result in discrimination against businesses inside the Green Line.
