MK (Yahadut HaTorah) Eliezer Menachem Moses on Monday night denied reports circulating in the chareidi media that the party in a faction meeting earlier in the day decided not to adopt an aggressive approach towards Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s no-building in Yosh policy.
Reports indicate that despite the building freeze in Modi’in Illit and Betar Illit, the MKs decided not to go on the offensive against the prime minister at this time.
Moses stated no such discussion took place, explaining that the critical issue of housing was on the agenda. He added that the party does not see outward objections to American policy a helpful move at present, but they do hope to continue efforts towards obtaining permits to renew construction in the chareidi sector. He did not elaborate.
