Maran Rav Elyashiv Shlita arrived at the Kosel on Monday morning, greeted by Kosel Rav Rabbi Shmuel Rabinowitz. The Gadol HaDor arrived shortly after 9:00am, his first visit since Birchas HaChama on erev Pesach.
The Rav Shlita approached the Kosel and recited a number of Prakei Tehillim before departing. Since the Rav was unable to visit on Shavuos and due to the Shivas Yimei Milu’im, the Rav visited on Monday.

#3 I beleive there was a typo and Yechiel meant to write Shivas Yimei Tashlumim.
When we had the Bais Hamikdash and since there was no Hol Hamoad during Shavous, Am Yisrael could bring their Korban Chagiga amd related korbanos during the 7 days immediately after the chag. This is the reason why we don’t say Tachnun during these days.
IY”H the Beis Hamikdash will be speedily rebuilt and we will have the opportunity to bring our korbanos during this period.
