Arab MKs of the Ra’am-Ta’al Party headed by MK Dr. Ahmed Tibi will on Tuesday visit the homes of Israeli Arabs in the Silwan area of the capital in support of the residents whose illegal structures have been slated for demolition by Jerusalem City Hall.
 
The solidarity move is scheduled to coincide with a Knesset tour of Ir David, ahead of Yom Yerushalayim on Friday, expressing solidarity with the residents of this renewed Jewish community in the heart of ancient Biblical Jerusalem.
 
Tibi stated on several occasions this week that he and his colleagues would not be taking part in the Knesset tour since in his words, “Jerusalem is occupied, not united or liberated”.
