Tzfania Street Project to Begin Next Month

The efforts of Jerusalem Councilmen R’ Yosef Deutsch and R’ Shlomo Rosenstein have paid off, with City Hall approving next month’s start of the NIS 8 million Tzfania Street revitalization project.

The major project will include renewing sewage and electric lines along with other basic infrastructure. Steps will be redone, streets repaved and sidewalks expanded and modernized.

City Hall is embarked on a campaign to inform residents of the upcoming project, which of course will be accompanied by a share of difficulties – warning parents that are advised to pay special attention to the children during the renovation period, which present new dangers in the neighborhood for curiosity seeking children.

The finished product officials report will result in a marked improvement in the neighborhood, with new street lighting, modernized sidewalk stones, improved and new signs, railways and much more.
