Governor Andrew Cuomo and other New York elected officials are traveling to Puerto Rico next week. But Mayor Bill de Blasio won’t be joining them.
A mayoral spokesman said Thursday that de Blasio wasn’t invited to join the delegation.
Cuomo, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito are among those traveling Monday.
They are journeying to the island to discuss Puerto Rico’s debt woes and health care problems.
The apparent snub of the mayor seems to be the latest chapter in the ongoing feud between de Blasio and Cuomo.
In recent weeks they have sparred over Uber, the response to the Legionnaires disease outbreak and the Albany legislative session.
A spokeswoman for the governor declined to comment on the lack of invitation for de Blasio.
