The IDF announced plans to open a road in Chevron that the area’s Jewish residents insist will facilitate targeting them in terror attacks. The Zion Road is scheduled to be reopened, a road that was closed by Israel to prevent attacks on the route leading to the Machpelah.

MK (Ichud HaLeumi) Yaakov Katz in his response to the announced government plan stated that it was Netanyahu in his previous term as prime minister who handed most of Chevron over to the PA (Palestinian Authority).
