Shai (Shomron-Yehuda) Police officials report they have completed preparations for the opening of the 5776 school year on Tuesday, September 1, 2015.
Hundreds of police and border police will be on hand to ensure the safety of students returning to school in areas throughout Yehuda and Shomron. Police during recent weeks have taken measures towards ensuring the first day of school is uneventful.
Police point out that with many parents accompanying their children on the first day of school, traffic is expected to be heavier than usual. Therefore traffic police will be out in force. There will be checkpoints in place to check vehicles and passengers.
Police call on parents to be careful when dropping of children, to make sure they stop in safe areas.
