Israel’s Arab community has announced it plans to strike the opening of the new school in a sign of protest over the unfair treatment it receives. The representatives of the Israeli Arab community explain they are not receiving a fair share of the education budget pie, and they are no longer willing to accept the discriminatory practices.
The nation’s public school system is set to open on Tuesday, 17 Elul (September 1st).
