Reb Yonah Zev Hershkowitz was the husband of Mrs Leah Hershkowitz A”H – who was Niftar just three months ago (reported HERE on YWN).

Re 2: it is very difficult. Then again, I think that many of the children are grandparents themselves. It’s never easy but weigh sitting shiva twice in one year under these circumstances to say, sitting as a minor, then 40 or 50 years later for the other parent. Hashem should be menachem the family bsoch aveilei Tziyon v’Yrushalayim.
How old was the niftar?
I was told that when this Niftar and his wife celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary he had the Zchus of having his own father attend the Seuda. If that story is true – then what a family Zchus to have Arichas Yomim. IY”H it should continue in the Hershkowitz family for Doray Doros.
