Hizbullah and Iran are continuing efforts to strike out against Israel whenever possible, IDF Chief of Intelligence Major-General Amos Yadlin reports.

In his first appearance before the new cabinet, the army intelligence chief told cabinet ministers that the situation between Hizbullah and Egypt is indeed embarrassing for the terror organization, but highlighted the fact that Hizbullah is operating in other countries in the area as well, in concert with Iran, looking for new opportunities to strike out against Israel. Yadlin further explained the Egyptian uncovering of Hizbullah operation is viewed by the terrorists as extremely bad timing as the terror organization is working to influence elections in Lebanon.

Yadlin reiterated the warning for Israelis abroad, explaining terrorists are lurking and seeking to target them if opportunity permits.
