Employees of the Hadar 2000 Company on Friday were alarmed to see that swastikas were drawn on a wood shipment arriving in the firm located near Chadera, shipped from Lithuania.
Alongside the swastikas were other defamatory figures including facial caricatures with long noses, alarmingly similar to the anti-Semitic drawings synonymous with WWII.
A member of the company’s management team contacted the supplier, responding angrily, reporting he received a firm commitment that the responsible persons would be located and dealt with appropriately. He also invited the senior employee of the Lithuanian firm to visit and see the beauty of Israel.
