The motzei Shabbos protest began at Shivtei Yisrael Street. The rebitzen was ultimately released and instructed she must reappear for questioning on Sunday. Attorney Itamar Ben-Givir is representing her. He explains “Police are panicked and acting in a hysterical fashion to cover their failure regarding Schlisel. It is unclear why one who opposes the parade was placed under arrest. Is it now prohibited to oppose such a parade?”

  1. With a bit more of the forethought with the local cops are infamous, they could have also taken into custody the pet canary bird of this family.

  2. Does the Rebbitzen or her husband have any first names? Which Grossman are you talking about? Very shoddy reporting.

  3. This so ironic.

This guy sat 10 years in prison for the same crime, yet they let him out 3 before the same parade. They practically asked for trouble, (it wouldn’t surprise me if they gave him the knife).

So now they make it look like the chareidim caused it, much like when they sent secret agents to incite against Rabin..

  4. “Police were looking for had husband, but they were unable to find him so they arrested the rebitzen on motzei Shabbos.”

That doesn’t make sense. You can’t arrest a man’s wife – or anyone else connected with him for that matter – just because you can’t find him.
