An off-duty New York Police Department officer has been wounded in a shooting.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday in Brooklyn.
Police say the 33-year-old officer was shot in the right arm and suffered a graze wound to the torso. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He’s listed in stable condition.
Police say the shooting occurred during an armed robbery on Bradford Street in the East New York section. Further details were not immediately available.
There have been no arrests. The investigation is continuing.
