One of the terrorists released in the Gilad Shalit prisoner deal was arrested during the night in the Shiloach (Abu Dis) area of the capital after it was learned he is back to his terrorist activities.

Security forces received information that he is involved in attacking Israelis with stones and firebombs as well as bomb-making. Security forces on the eve of 22 Tammuz (Wednesday to Thursday) entered the area. A force of border policemen and detectives from Maale Adumim were involved in the operation. A number of arrests were made, including the terrorists released in the Shalit deal. The operation did not pass quietly.

After the arrests were preparing to leave the area but ran into a makeshift barrier made by youths in the area to stop the arrest of this particular terrorist, whose name is not given. Disturbances followed involving massive rock-throwing. B’chasdei Hashem there are no injuries to the security troops. There was damage to vehicles.
