Police on Thursday morning 22 Tammuz arrested a Jewish youth, a minor, who allegedly attacked an Arab worker in a store in the Bar Ilan area of the capital on Wednesday.
According to the report, the three Jewish youths entered a beverage store on Wednesday and began speaking with one of the employees. One of the Jewish youths realized the man was an Arab and he and his friends attacked him. They began beating the Arab employee, breaking his nose and using a box cutter against him, fleeing the scene. The injured employee was transported to Hadassah Mt. Scopus Hospital.
Police learned of the identity of one suspect, 15, and he was arrested and arraigned on Thursday. Police expect to make additional arrests soon.
