Solider Wounded in 2nd Lebanon War Discharged from Hospital

Baruch Rofeh Cholim – After 30 months in the hospital and Tel Hashomer Hospital’s rehabilitation unit, IDF soldier Dror Kandleshein, 26, was released on Monday (30 March). Dror was shot in his head during the battle of Bint Jbeil, leaving him comatose for seven months.

At the ceremonious discharge, Dror thanked the medical staff, his family, and especially his parents. He told those around him to take an example from him and learn to appreciate life, and to exhibit a willingness to work towards achieving seemingly impossible goals.
