A firebomb was hurled at a bus carrying passengers between the communities of Ateret and N’vei Tzuf in the western area of Binyamin Regional Council district of Shomron at about 10 AM Wednesday morning, 21 Tammuz.
The bus caught fire near the rear door but B’chasdei Hashem the incendiary device did not enter the bus. The driver stopped the bus when he realized flames were shooting off the right side rear and took a fire extinguisher to put out the blaze as passengers got off the bus. The fire department and IDF responded.

Many of us are not knowledgeable as to the locations of these events with relation to the cities that we are familiar with. Can the editor please be more specific when describing these events? How far is it from Yerushalayim, B’nei Brak, etc.?
Thanks
Dear yaapchik and all others interested the area is not far from Modiin Ilit and about 20 minutes from elad and about a little over 30 minutes to Yerushalim. All in different directions.
They got off the bus???!!!!
This is what is particularly dangerous in these incidents. They are often planned so that they get helpless people out of vehicles and out into the open to be subject to worse assaults. A lose-lose situation, H’ Yishmor! Push up security, arm the bus drivers etc, and of course increase good deeds, in particular, bein adam lechaveiro!
