Light rain was reported in Haifa and in areas of the center of the country, and the rainfall is expected to reach as far south as Ashdod. There was a slight drizzle in the capital at about 10:00 as well.

The unseasonable weather is expected to continue on Monday, 12 Tammuz with a chance of more rainfall. Beginning on Tuesday, temperatures are expected to begin rising.
The inclement weather compelled the closure of Eilat Airport and the cancelation of outgoing and incoming flights.
