Chareidi IDF Soldier Files a Harassment Complaint with Police

idffA chareidi IDF soldier was targeted in his Beit Shemesh building by Jews on Wednesday, 7 Tammuz. The soldier serves in the Intelligence Corps and lives in Ramat Beit Shemesh Gimmel. He was shocked to find a sign reading “Chardak get out!” on his door.

He soon realized the fanatics did not make do with the sign, but smeared feces on his door as well. The soldier’s neighbors realized what occurred after seeing a sign on the building entrance too.

The soldier filed an official police complaint, explaining he is subjected to threats and harassment due to being an IDF soldier.

  1. It is just a matter of time until one of these holy soldiers opens fire on those harassing them. I hope that the police do their job.

  2. I heard in the US when someone targeted a Jewish neighbor on Chanuka the Christian neighbors responded by al putting menoras in their windows. (I think) It seems an excellent response in this case is for the frum neighbors to put stickers (or signs) all on their own doors saying they are frum and stand with fellow frum soldiers. I understand they may risk similar treatment but that may also get the police more likely to get involved and send a strong message. This kind of behavior is not expected of JEWS in chutz laaretz and in erets yisroel the land itself expects higher standards

  3. this is going to far-while many are against frum youth serving in the mainly anti-religious IDF ,we still need to at least respect those who chose to serve and help them stay frum.
