In response to the firing of a rocket into southern Israel on Tuesday 6 Tammuz shortly after 22:00, Israel announced that Gazans will be prohibited from entering into Israel on Friday to visit al-Aqsa Mosque.

Israel has issued a limited number of permits to Gazans permitting them to partake in Ramadan services on the Fridays during the Muslim holy month.

A rocket on Tuesday night was fired into the Ashkelon Regional Council district. B’chasdei Hashem there were no fatalities, injuries or property damage.
