Police and Ministry of Agriculture inspectors from the Shomron district stopped a truck at the Bekaot Checkpoint in the Jordan Valley on Monday, 5 Tammuz. The truck, with PA (Palestinian Authority) license plates, was traveling from Jenin towards the Jordan Valley.
Inspectors stopped the vegetable truck for inspection and found that behind the crates of vegetables were three motorcycles. Two of the motorcycles are stolen and police were working on determining the owner at the time of this report.
The suspect is being detained for 48 hours after which he will be arraigned in a Shomron military court.
