10:28AM EST: Catskills Hatzolah as well as Woodridge & Mountaindale Fire Department is responding to a fire in the Mountaindale Shul. Initial reports state that a tractor trailer has crashed into a utility pole, which landed on the Shul and is currently on fire. The Shul is located on Church Road & Main Street. At this time the burning wires has spread fire to the structure.

UPDATE 11:04AM EST: Additional manpower has been requested from Rock Hill to respond to the scene, and Hatzolah members have been asked to assist in the removal of the Sifrei Torah.

YWN has not been able to confirm the extent of any damage to the structure at this time.
