Prominent NH Republicans Want Debate Open to All Candidates

2016More than 50 prominent Republicans in New Hampshire are asking Fox News to change the format of its Aug. 6 presidential debate so every candidate can participate.

That’s the first scheduled GOP debate, and host Fox plans to restrict it to the top 10 candidates, based on polling average from the five most recent national polls.

The Republican field could approach 20 candidates, and that means logistical challenges.

The New Hampshire Republicans are suggesting in their letter to Fox News and the Republican National Committee that Fox split its debate into two panels.

Three of the top six candidates would be on one panel, and the other top three contenders would be on the second panel. The rest of the contenders would be assigned randomly to a panel.

  1. Is there a stage in New Hampshire wide enough for 20 candidates? Would it be OK if the stage stretches into Maine or Vermont?

Democracy bothers you? I know, your man Hillary was anointed as Queen and no one is allowed to dare challenge her (Bernie is a joke).

The Republicans actually have quite a few good candidates who are competing for the nomination. This is what true Democracy should be.
