After another round of coalition talks between Yahadut HaTorah and Likud, MK Menachem Eliezer Moses on Monday afternoon reports significant and acceptable progress regarding monthly child allowance payments.
Moses added however they have not been as successful in other areas, particularly funds for education and addressing the critical housing shortage in the chareidi community, explaining Likud is unwilling to do much in addition to offering the Charish project in the Nachal I’ron area.
Some of the perks being sought, such as refunding 15.5% value added tax for young chareidi couples was rejected, along with efforts seeking long-term loans for young couples in established communities.
