Anyone who has been to Kever Rochel of late can testify to the stifling conditions as the site’s air conditioning has been down since a recent electric fire. While temporary emergency lighting was arranged, the temporary system was not capable of accommodating the air conditioning.

Efforts by MK Menachem Eliezer Moses have paid off as immediate measures were taken due to the sweltering heatwave this week. With the cooperation of the National Center for Holy Sites headed by R’ Yosef Swinger, funds were allocated for a temporary solution as giant blowers were installed to make conditions tolerable for mispallalim visiting and the lomdei Torah who are constantly manning the site.
