Following a request filed with the IDF’s liaison office in Shomron, border police, IDF soldiers and a Shomron search & rescue volunteer unit were activated to assist in the search for a 12-year-old PA (Palestinian Authority) resident who was lost near Nachal Kana after falling.

Under extremely heavy IDF presence, since the search was conducted in a PA autonomous area, the rescue team on Sunday night recovered the body of the youth, who drowned in the nachal during the weekend storm.
