Shas MK Meshulam Nahari expected to become a deputy minister of education together with Meir Porush, both to serve under Minister of Education Naftali Bennett. On Sunday, 28 Iyar Shas leader Minister Aryeh Deri announced that Nahari would not be entering that post, but he would serve as deputy minister of Welfare, serving under Minister (Likud) Chaim Katz.
Yahadut Hatorah was furious when learning Deri planned to place Nahari alongside Porush, deciding to veto the appointment. Bennett then reacted with a message to the chareidi tzibur, announcing the chareidim have nothing to fear from him in his new cabinet post. “We are all together. I am everybody’s minister” proclaimed Bennett.
At the ceremony welcoming Deri as the new Minister of the Economy, Bennett, the outgoing minister announced that he is leaving Deri with a ministry if good health, a ministry that is prospering and advancing the agenda of the nation.

I is good that the chardi partys are looking out for the greater good and not just for personal gain
The practice of politics in the East may be defined by one word: dissimulation.
There can be economy only where there is efficiency.

This growing rift between Shas and degel is very unhealthy, and can have dangerous consequences when coalition negotiators see that you can have one without the other. Reparing the bridges should be a top priority.
