The IDF for a first time in a very long time will on Monday night, the eve of 7 Adar, permit mispalalim to visit Kever Yehoshua Ben Nun, located in Kafr Haris near Ariel in Shomron. Also located in the village is the Kever of Kalev Ben Yefune and mispalalim will also be permitted access.
The event will take place with the total approval and cooperation of the IDF’s Ephraim Brigade commander. Access will only be permitted via Ariel Junction, from where mispalalim will get on a bulletproof bus and enter the village by bus only. The army will maintain its presence and keep the route open between midnight and 2:00am.
Once again, the visit to the kever, as is the case with Kever Yosef and other holy sites, is being arranged by the Yesod Olam organization, affiliated with Breslov Chassidus. Organizers will also provide lighting and light refreshments.
