At Least 6 Rockets Strike Southern Israel on Sunday Night


A Kassam rocket landed in the yard of a Sderot family on Sunday night. Due to the heavy rains, the rocket lodged in the mud and damage was limited although a fire did erupt as a result. Officials reported no one was at home at the time. Later in the night, rockets also landed in the S’dot Negev Regional Council and Eshkol Regional Council on numerous occasions. Once again, Baruch Hashem no injuries or damage.

As Sderot Mayor David Buskila was taking part in a sports awards ceremony, another siren sounded, compelling him and the others to seek cover.

A least 70 rockets have landed in southern Israeli communities since the cessation of Operation Cast Lead.
