A PA (Palestinian Authority) resident from the Ramallah area was taken into custody at a crossing in northern Jerusalem on Tuesday after he was found to be concealing a 10” knife.

The 23-year-old Jalazoun resident was taken into custody by soldiers manning the Atarot Crossing. He was turned over to the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) for interrogation, and according to reports, he had admitted he was carrying the knife to carry out a stabbing attack at the checkpoint.
