A public school student was struck by a vehicle just outside the school in the Flatbush area, Wednesday at noon.
The accident happened at around 12:00PM at the intersection of Quentin Road and Bedford Avenue. Sources tell YWN that a 15-year-old student was crossing the street when he was struck by a vehicle. The impact caused heavy damage to the windshield of the vehicle. The victim was thrown and landed under a MTA bus which thankfully had been stopped by a bus stop and was not moving.
Flatbush Hatzolah was on the scene in minutes along with FDNY, EMS, and the NYPD. The child was removed easily removed from under the bus by arriving emergency personnel, and placed onto a waiting Flatbush Hatzolah ambulance.
The child was transported to Kings County Trauma Center with some serious injuries.
The NYPD Highway Unit was on the scene investigating the cause of the crash.

We’re glad that the words, Kiddush Hashem, were not mentioned. Beause the reason we help people, is due to our sincere compassion for every human being. It’s not a Kiddush Hashem show made for the public.

Actually, Hatzolah should not have transported the patient. Seeing as FDNY EMS was on scene at that point, Hatzolah should’ve given them the packaged patient, bec FDNY could’ve at least billed insurance and gotten some money to cover the cost of the hospital txp, which is not cheap.
