NYPD Looking For Two Suspects Who Robbed Pawn Shop On Ditmas Avenue Near Boro Park


darThe NYPD is seeking the public’s assistance in locating and identifying two individuals in connection to a robbery in Kensington – just outside of Boro Park.

On Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at approximately 11:00AM, the suspects entered a pawn shop, located at 122 Ditmas Avenue near East 2nd Street. Suspect #1 approached a jewelry case and asked the 36 year-old victim/employee if he could see rings that were inside. The victim proceeded to take one tray of rings out of the case, at which point Suspect #1 pushed the victim in the chest and removed the rings and fled. Suspect #2 proceeded to recover multiple rings that fell to the floor during the robbery and fled the store.

A total of nine (9) rings, valued at approximately $3,000, were stolen during the incident.

The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect #1: Male, black, late 30’s to early 40’s, approximately 5’7” to 5’8”. He was last seen wearing glasses.

Suspect #2: Male, black, in his late 20’s, approximately 5’10” to 6’0”.
