While the new American administration is calling for a dialogue with Damascus, Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad appears to be exhibit a less cordial attitude towards the White House.
US Senator John Kerry, leading a three-person delegation over the weekend met with the Syrian leader in Damascus. Kerry explained the White House and the new administration of President Barak Obama is seeking a warming of relations. Kerry added that this however demands that Syria denounce its policy of support for Hizbullah and other terror organizations.
Assad however accused America of trying to dictate Syrian policy, rejecting the move. “We want to open a new page after the American sanctions of the previous administration” Assad was quoting as saying, “but the government is announcing preconditions that are unacceptable to us” he added.
Assad also indicated he expects the United States to appoint a new ambassador to Syria after withdrawing its ambassador after the 2005 killing of Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri.

So the US is kissing up and making nice to Syria while Syria is building a chemical weapons plant with which to arm the missles they would like to launch into Israel, and the Syrians say b’fayrush they will not cut off hizbulla. – Very nice Obama, -we knew we could count on you! Wake up Yidden–its time to go home!
America to Syria: Fly a kite
we could only count on hashem, and for the one who wrote its time to go home… we will go home when hashem will take us home with mosheach! Israel is powerless don’t u see??
To Shulim (#3) With all due respect… We are not supposed to be somaych on a nais. One way to show HaSh-m we are REALLY waiting for Him to bring Mashiach is to go home and wait for Him in Eretz Yisrael. Do we want to wait for HaSh-m to see us going to Eretz Yisrael because the goyim are pushing us out and we have no choice, or to see us going because we are machsheev the beautiful land He gave us and want to wait for mashiach there!
to #4 , I agree eretz yisroel is the best place to be, I would love to live there, I visit a few times a year, my comment was about the goverment of Israel, they are powerless and we need mosheach asap. and we are in gulis and hashem will bring us back there, and we could feel safe all over if we depend on hashem, and we are unsafe in eretz yisroel if we don’t depend on hashem, and if we rely on the israel goverment, we then take away hashems protection because we r relying on others.
