11:00AM IL: Yisrael Beitenu leader Avigdor Lieberman a short time ago met with President Shimon Peres and recommended the presidential mandate to form a government should be given to Likud leader Binyamin Netanyahu, with one major stipulation, that he form a “broad-based government”.
Lieberman explained that while he remains opposed to a coalition that includes a rotating prime minister, as many suggest, he will not join a Likud-led government that does not include the Kadima Party. He stated that government must include the three major parties, Likud, Kadima and Yisrael Beitenu.

Some of Lieberman’s stated goals are the destruction of both Shabbos and Kashrus as we know it now in Israel. Hashem Yerachem!!!
Could someone pls explain – if Kadima is insisting it will not sit in a Likud-led govt. and would rather stay in opposition, does Lieberman’s recommendation carry any effect?
Also does anyone out there have any further (albeit unconfirmed) updates?
Thank you
