Nazareth police on Tuesday apprehended a Volkswagen van carrying 17 elementary school children. The driver tried running away but was apprehended after a very short foot pursuit.
Another van carrying elementary schoolers was also apprehended, with 14 children on board.
Police plan to file charges against both drivers, whose licenses were suspended, and whose vehicles were impounded for 30 days.
