Following a Tuesday evening 9 Iyar meeting with Moshe Kahlon, it appears his Kulanu party will be signing a coalition agreement today, Wednesday, 10 Iyar.
The signing comes a week before Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s deadline to present his coalition government to President Reuven Rivlin. If there are no last minute snags, Yahadut Hatorah with its six seats will also be signing on, together with Kulanu with its ten seats.
This together with Likud’s (30) gives the prime minister a coalition of 46 MKs. He needs a minimum of 61 MKs. If he signs on Shas (7), Bayit Yehudi (8), he will have 61. PM Netanyahu also hopes to bring in Yisrael Beitenu with its 6 seats for a coalition of 67.
