5:44PM EST: FDNY and Hatzolah are on the scene of a fire at 541 Whyte Avenue.

Fire is reported to be on the 14th floor.

UPDATE 5:50PM EST: FDNY reports that the fire is on the 15th floor (apt 15F) – possibly a balcony fire. The initial searches of the fire apartment are negative (all occupants B”H safely out of the apartment)

UPDATE 5:52PM EST: The FDNY Division Chief on the scene reports that all fire has been extinguished, and the fire is “probably will hold”.
