Israel on Friday marks Family Day and as such, the Central Bureau of Statistics released some statistics showing a less pleasant but nonetheless real part of life, divorce.

According to official government figures, over 10,000 couples were divorced in the Chief Rabbinate in the past year, quoting officials in the Chief Rabbinate Bet Din.

Since 1994, 7,387 men and women were divorced twice, 373 men and women three times, 27 men and women four times, 5 five times and one male even recorded 6 divorces.
