The raffle campaign was a major fundraising success for RBC. Proceeds will benefit the organization’s work offering aid and support to medical patients, their families, and the elderly. RBC’s fundraising efforts, including the raffle, contribute to a monthly budget of $250,000 to provide medical assistance, hot meals, social services, and telephone help lines.
Community members and recipients of RBC’s services have expressed their excitement about the raffle results, as well as their appreciation for the organization’s work. RBC’s directors and staff have also been very pleased with the raffle’s outcome. “We’re thrilled with the results of this raffle and want to thank everyone who participated,” said Usher Kahan. “We congratulate the winners, but the people who will benefit most are the members of our community in need who will receive services funded by the raffle proceeds.”
