With less than two weeks before the general election for the 18th Knesset, the Belzer Rebbe Shlita sent a shaliach, Rav Yisrael Eichler, number six on the Yahadut HaTorah list, to meet with Gedolei Yisrael. The Rebbe’s message is a simple one, emphasizing the mistakes of the Yerushalayim mayoral race may not be repeated for if chas v’sholom that is the case, it would deliver a fatal blow to yeshivas, kollelim and other mosdos.
Rav Eichler personally made a number of visits, including with Maran Rav Elyashiv Shlita, Maran Rav Auerbach Shlita, and a number of admorim, including the Seret Vishnitz Rebbe Shlita, Sanz Rebbe Shlita, Boyaner Rebbe Shlita, Slonim Rebbe Shlita, Sadigura Rebbe Shlita, Pittsburg Rebbe Shlita and the Pinsk-Karlin Rebbe Shlita. The Belzer Rebbe’s message was clear, and perhaps frightening, citing the difficult realities for bochrim and avreichim today, as well as the sad state of dining rooms in mosdos.
All of the Gedolim were in agreement, understanding that due to the difficult fiscal realities in the world and in Eretz Yisrael, lawmakers would prefer to cut budgets from mosdos torah than other areas and this can only be prevented by a strong Yahadut HaTorah in Knesset.
Rav Eichler received brachos from the Admorim and Rabbonim, who wished him hatzlocha in the efforts ahead of the election as well as a continued shaliach for Am Yisrael.

rabbi eichler is a talmid chochom and a great defender of yidishkeit in eretz yisroel. i see in eichler the qualities that ravitz z’l had. i wish him much hatzlacha. he is a true shliach of the belzer rebbe shlita

yes, the problem wasnt aza (and yehudah and shomron), the problem isnt olmert just asking (like he did when he went over rice’s head in the middle of a bush speech) to have pollard pardoned, the problem isnt funds (and health care) for the needy, the problem isnt any of the other issues,
the problem is $$$ (which i guarantee you is only going to those with protectzia)
